Dubbing Director
Recently and by popular demand, we have added a new functionality for dubbing directors. Before this update, dubbing directors were forced to have a Business account to discover artists and cast them and a Professional account to have their professional profile within Vocalbums.
In this update we wanted to solve this problem by enabling an option in the settings of the professional (artists) accounts so that directors can switch between Business and Professional accounts at the click of a button.
Are you a dubbing director?
If you are a dubbing director and you don't have an account yet, create your PROFESSIONAL account and indicate that you are a dubbing director. You will have access to the functionalities of both accounts in one account.
How to indicate that I am a dubbing director
To indicate that you are a dubbing director, simply go to settings page in your Vocalbums account and click on the checkbox under "Dubbing director ".

The new update focused on improving the user experience for dubbing directors introduces some changes to the graphical interface which we will see below.
Adding dubbing directions to your public profile
From the dubbing section you will be able to add the dubbing directions you have directed. These will be visible in a *new tab called "Directed Dubbings"* in your public profile. As with the dubs, when you add a new direction, it will go directly to the table "Dubbing directions pending publication". In this way, you can add dubbing addresses as you make them and when you are sure that they have already been broadcasted you can publish them.
Profile highlighted in search results
A ribbon with the text "Dubbing director " has been added to those profiles that have indicated that they are dubbing directors so that they stand out visually and other dubbing actors can easily find them. This change only applies to the search results on the Dubbing Actors page.
Skills
Once you have selected the checkbox "I am a dubbing director ", you will see that in the "Skills " section of the basic-data edit page the skill "Dubbing director " appears. This new skill will appear in your public profile and Business accounts will be able to filter their searches by this skill.
If you want to remove the "Dubbing Director " skill from your profile, you will have to do it through the configuration page by removing the check from the "Dubbing Director " section.
Switching between accounts
Another change implemented in this update is that, now, from the left side menu of your administration area a button has been added with which you can switch between accounts (role change).
If you click on "Switch to business account " your GUI, navigation menu and other options will change. From this new interface you will be able to perform all the functions available for Business accounts.

- Create your own castings
- Share your castings with the production department
- Manage your list of favorite professionals
If you are in your "Business" account and you want to switch back to your "Professional" account, just click on the "Switch to artist account" button in the side navigation menu.
